A new decade begins for everyone during 2020, and at the same time, A-OSH EXPO will be celebrating its tenth anniversary as Africa’s foremost occupational health and safety (OHS) trade show.
It’s a double win for the expo, with a new decade and also its first completed decade taking place simultaneously during A-OSH EXPO 2020. The organisers, Specialised Exhibitions a division of Montgomery Group, could not be prouder of marking 10 years during which A-OSH EXPO has placed health and wellness firmly in the spotlight on an annual basis.
“Ten years is a great achievement,” says Event Director Sven Smit. “Being in double digits means that the show is not only surviving, but also thriving. We are proud to be associated with the positive growth of this trade show, which plays such a strong role in assisting people across multiple industries with health and wellness issues within the work environment.
“We all spend much of our week at work and so it is good to have health and safety issues highlighted here at the show every year, to the ultimate potential benefit of both employers and employees.”
The exhibitor profile includes the following: auditing; disaster management; environmental management; fall arrest and working at height equipment and training; first aid and medical supplies and training; gas detection and monitoring equipment; hazardous materials storage and handling; noise control and monitoring equipment and services; occupational health services, including ergonomics and wellness programmes; and personal protective equipment (PPE) and more.
A-OSH EXPO 2020 will once again be co-located with the continent’s leading security and fire trade show, Securex South Africa, as well as the Facilities Management Expo, which holistically tackles all aspects of facilities management-related services, from 02 and 04 June 2020 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
This triple-show co-location allows visitors and exhibitors alike to experience a consolidated view of the entire value chain – facilities management, security and occupational health and safety issues – in one place and under one roof.
