“The 2024 A-OSH Expo was number 13 for the SafeQuip team. Exhibiting is a crucial part of our marketing plan as it allows us to showcase our products and promote our company directly to potential customers, creating a tangible and interactive experience. This was a valuable opportunity for brand awareness, generate leads, and foster relationships with customers and industry partners. The exhibition coupled with conferences also provided valuable opportunities for networking, market research, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. The strategic positioning of our stand promoted our visibility to our visitors which consists of decision makers making it the perfect platform for valuable discussions. We had positive feedback and enquiries on new products such as our Lith-Ex firextinguisher range specifically for lithium – ion battery fires. We also had potentially new clients from sub-Saharan Africa. “We’ve exhibited at A-OSH EXPO four times. We get exposure to very specific clients, and since we are the only suppliers who do this particular software, that can easily integrate with other PPE supplier solutions, being on the expo is highly beneficial to us. We get to meet with the very PPE companies we would like to work with. We find that this is a long-term branding exercise — we put ourselves forward in one year, then it pays dividends for us in future years.”

“Last year, being post-COVID, we concentrated on letting people know we are still in the market and on promoting brand awareness. We found traction from the visitors at the 2023 show, then we did a post-show survey with a group of the visitors to our stand to find out what they felt we did right and where we could improve. We made those changes for the 2024 event, and we were able to focus on what people wanted to see on our stands. The expo is very efficiently run, and the seminar sessions are a big drawcard. Our autonomous robot Harvey proves very popular — he goes into dangerous areas where, for instance, there is fire and smoke, ensuring human lives are protected, by reporting back to control rooms with footage and alerts. We chatted to some big corporates, and we’ve firmed up some positive appointments,”
